Greg Crawford On D-League Basketball

Greg Crawford @wchoops covers D-1 basketball for Comcast SportsNet, CSNNW.com http://www.csnnw.com/pages/ncaabasketball and he also loves all basketball, that is why he started this blog for coverage of a league that get little, the NBA's D-League.

Great News: The NBA announced today that the it is partnering with Google/You Tube to bring 350 D-League games to the internet through live streaming. This is a huge step for the D-League and most certainly will increase exposure worldwide.

The partnership is also significant, in that it will be the largest internet video streaming of any professional league. Congrats to all concerned and what a great move.

Overtime: Love the fact the D-League will experiment this year with using three minutes for any overtime as compared the usual three minutes. Great move and it makes teams really have to get out the box quickly in any overtime game this season. I will keep you posted on the progress for sure.
