Morning Snapshot: Notre Dame Outlasts Louisville

(Photo: sbnation.com)
If you missed the Louisville-Notre Dame game on ESPN Saturday night, you missed a classic! This game went into five overtimes. The last time there was a Big East game that long was when Syracuse took on UConn in the Big East Tournament a few years ago and that game went to six overtimes. The Louisville-Notre Dame game was the longest Big East regular season game in history.

Saturday's game had everything in it from one coach playing with house money to another coach basically losing his mind because of his one of his players bone headed mistakes. In the end, Notre Dame defeated Louisville 104-101 in five overtimes and not only the student section was happy but so was Irish head coach Mike Brey who was having so much fun in the overtimes. Everybody welcome to the most important month in college basketball as March Madness is down the road.
