Greg Crawford On Basketball, For January 17th, 2015

By Gregory Crawford---- TV, Radio and Print Basketball Analyst---- on twitter @wchoops @crawssportsbiz @kcsportsmgmt

NBA Power Rankings---- It is Saturday, so that means it is time for another edition of Crawford's world famous NBA power rankings. Lots of changes this week, we always do things in 9s out of respect for the great game of golf.

9. Dallas
8. Clippers
7. Chicago
6. Portland
5. Toronto
4. Houston
3. Memphis
2. Golden State
1. Atlanta

NBA Finals---- I have changed from my August prediction of having the Chicago Bulls defeat Portland in the NBA Finals. Now I think Portland will win it all, defeating Chicago in 7 games, a dramatic series indeed.

For some reason as good as they are, I think Golden State will get knocked out in the second round. As for a sleeper, you obviously have to consider Memphis, Houston and Atlanta, as there is no question the Hawks are for real.

Once again, it shocking that the Atlanta Hawks in the up to date NBA attendance figures still rank 24th, averaging 16,181 fans per game. Number one in NBA attendance is Chicago with 21,898 and last is Minnesota at 13,818 fans per game.

Score Predictions----- Took a little break from my score predictions because of so many pressing stories that needed to get out and always will here in Greg Crawford On Basketball, but we are back today, with a season record so far of 40-18.

Portland 100 @ Memphis 97
Atlanta 83 @Chicago 104  The Bulls end the Hawks' 11 game winning streak.
Golden State 116 @ Houston 121 GS loses for only the 7th time this year.

Final Four---- As long as I am in the prediction mode, how about a little college final four. Of course always dependent on the region a team lands in, but here is who I think might be there in April.

Gonzaga, Michigan State, Kentucky and Kansas.
